Datong is one of China's Nine Ancient Capitals and is renowned for its numerous historical sites, including the Yungang Grottoes, the Ancient City of Datong, Mount Hengshan (North Constant Mountain), the Great Wall of Datong, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, the Hanging Temple, and the Nine Dragon Wall.
